uTopia

This is my work, uTopia, which started out as music (with a bunch of audio clips and beats, along with notated music), then morphed into an audio+video thing. It's supposed to be performed live with real musicians, etc., but finding didgeridoo players who read is hard.

Most people don't think about the Dust Bowl Migration, because the public schools are so crappy and politicized they don't really tell students what actually happened. What really happened is the US Department of Agriculture promoted practices that ruined vast areas of farmland, and when drought came, it turned into dust, which ruined the agrarian populace (not that the US government cared). They, naturally, moved to California, where drought did not exist at that time. These people became the backbone of the New California, along with the huge numbers of Braceros the government invited here to work in the fields.
